For years, when I told friends and clients about the beautiful Coquina rock formations that inspire my fountain creations, many would say that I must have in mind the outstanding features that distinguish Washington Oaks State Park. Though I have had a link to the official website of Washington Oaks on my website for years, because it explains the geologic history of Coquina rock, I must be honest and say that I didn't take the time to visit the park in person until last summer. I WAS BLOWN AWAY BY IT'S BEAUTY. I hope that you will get to visit it sometime as well. Perhaps these photos will do till you can get there.
