Wall Hanging Fountains
In the past I have been commissioned to create several
wall hanging fountains.
Regrettably, I don't even have photos of these to
show you.
But over the years I have dreamed of creating a series
of wall hanging fountains
that would be at eye level or higher. They would
be in shapes that would be
reminiscent of clouds.
I have just recently (Nov. 2002) made a substantial
investment in stainless steel to
serve as the material for brackets for these fountains.
I will post photos of these fountains here, as they are completed.
Update January 2003-
My first Wall Hanging fountain is coming along nicely.
It is in the stage where it is awaiting the application
of Mosaics and the Coquina finish.
I have already given it a name, "Cloud Forest".
The Mosaics I am creating for it will be of birds,
frogs and plants from the real
cloud forest known as Monteverde, in Costa Rica.
Included will be the Quetzal, the golden toad,
the poison dart frog, and a few other items remembered
from a trip I took to
Monteverde back in 1989.
Update January 2004
Still not done with this fountain. My big move
to Tampa and
ongoing construction on my Studio work space is causing
this frustrating delay.
